3 〔とがめずにおく〕 overlook; look over; pass over 《a matter》 in silence; let 《it》 pass [go]; let sb go unchallenged [unpunished]; connive 《at…》; wink (an eye) 《at…》; blink 《a fact》; 《口》 give sb the go-by.●違反を見逃がす overlook [gloze over] sb's infraction
